Kathryn Ryan speaks to Mark Gilbert, Chair of Auto Stewardship New Zealand, regarding the announcement of their successful application to the Waste Minimisation Fund – Te Pūtea Whakamauru Para for funding of $1.2 million.
ASNZ is the product stewardship organisation that governs Tyrewise, which is New Zealand’s first regulated product stewardship scheme for recycling tyres. The funding will cover the Implementation Project to get the scheme ready for launch in late 2023.
